The headers took on a life of their own. The first set remained close to the engine and collected underneath the car, but made several uncomfortably close bends next to the oil lines and other engine components and required notching the firewall. These were finally scrapped and a new fender well exit approach was taken. These were masterfully constructed By Mike Lelchook at Performance Welding Racing Headers  from 304 stainless steel tubing, and using two inch, four way merge collectors and v-band couplers reduced into the three inch side exit exhaust. All of the exhaust components were taken to Perfect-It powder coating for protection using a titanium high heat ceramic coating.
